Mount Athabasca
AA col III Or Silver Horn III
Also known as the Athabasca – Andromeda Col, this is a classic mountaineering objective in the Canadian Rockies. It is the safest route to ascend up the mountain and reach it’s towering summit above the Columbia Ice Fields.
While working our way up the AA Col route we will travel over moraines, glaciers, steep snow slopes and an amazing summit ridge with views right down the North Face of Mount Athabasca.
